What this tool tells you
A DNS lookup asks a resolver for a particular record type at a name. Use A or AAAA for addresses, MX for mail routing, TXT for published text, CNAME for aliases, NS for nameservers and CAA for certificate-issuance restrictions. Results describe the chosen resolver’s view at the displayed time.
How to use it
- Enter the full DNS name, including a subdomain or service prefix when needed.
- Select the record type and resolver, then run one lookup.
- Read the answer and remaining TTL. Select the other resolver for another view if needed.
Read the result in context
Two public resolvers are not a global propagation map. An empty successful response differs from NXDOMAIN, and a resolver or network error is not proof that records are missing. TTL is a cache lifetime, not a guaranteed worldwide update countdown. A false AD flag alone does not prove DNSSEC is broken.

Why do Google and Cloudflare show different answers?
Resolvers may have cached answers at different times. Geographic DNS responses and recent changes can also differ. Compare the exact name and record type and recheck after the relevant cache lifetime.
Does this query go through RelyPost servers?
No tool request is sent to a RelyPost API. After you click lookup, your browser contacts the resolver you choose directly. That resolver receives the queried name and your network address. Loading the website still uses ordinary hosting requests.
