Account and data deletion
Request deletion of your RelyPost account or personal information without reinstalling the app.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
1. Send your request
Email support@relypost.com with the subject “RelyPost account and data deletion request”. Include your account email, organization name, and whether you want account deletion, deletion of particular personal information, or both. Describe the records concerned if your request is limited. Do not include passwords, recovery codes or private attachments.
The Prepare deletion request button opens an editable email draft in your mail app. You must send it to begin the request. If no mail app is configured, copy the address and subject into your usual email service. Opening this page or the draft does not delete anything.
2. Verify identity and scope
Support may ask for proportionate verification before acting. Organization-provided accounts and business mailbox records may require the organization administrator’s involvement. A request must not remove another user’s records or bypass mailbox permissions.
Clarify any records you need to export before closure. Support can explain which active account information, mailbox content and attachments are covered, which shared records are outside the request, and the expected completion schedule.
3. Understand retained copies
Some billing, security, delivery or dispute records may need to be retained for their purpose or an applicable obligation. Backups and historical storage versions follow separate recovery lifecycles. Ask for the retained categories, reasons and applicable schedule; deletion from the active service is not a promise of immediate erasure from every backup.
Closing an account does not recall delivered messages or delete recipients’ copies. Shared business records may remain under your organization’s control. Local files exported to another app must be deleted from that app separately.
Clear this device separately
In RelyPost, Settings → Clear saved mail removes the mail cache while preserving device drafts. Signing out removes both saved mail and device drafts from the app and stops local notifications. These local controls do not close the server account or delete server mail.
