Using RelyPost
These Terms govern your use of RelyPost’s website, business email, Email API and apps. RelyPost is operated by Digital Shift LLC (“RelyPost”, “we”, “us”). “You” means the account holder or the organization they are authorized to represent. By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. A separately signed service agreement takes priority where it expressly changes them.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and have authority to manage the organization, domains and data you provide. Give accurate account and billing details and keep a working contact email. Organization administrators control membership and assigned mailboxes; an employee mailbox does not give ownership of the organization or its subscription.
Your service and responsibilities
Your plan and checkout specify the included features, storage, sending limits, price and billing period. Business Email and Email API have separate subscriptions and allowances. Free plans have limits and do not guarantee reserved capacity. Domain registration, your internet connection and third-party services are not included unless expressly stated. You are responsible for retaining control of your domain and applying the DNS settings needed for mail delivery.
Protect your passwords, recovery codes and API keys, assign access carefully, and tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You remain responsible for activity you authorize and for the legality of your content and recipients. We remain responsible for our own obligations; you are not automatically responsible for an incident caused by our failure to meet them.
Acceptable use
Do not use RelyPost for spam, unsolicited bulk email, phishing, fraud, malware, impersonation, harassment, unlawful content or violations of others’ privacy or intellectual property. Do not access accounts without permission, evade sending or plan limits, resell access without our agreement, or disrupt the service. Personal and shared business mailboxes are for ordinary business correspondence, not bulk or marketing campaigns. The Email API is for authorized transactional messages, subject to its documented scope and abuse controls.
Prices, payments and automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the monthly or annual period you select and renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before renewal. Prices are in US dollars unless checkout states otherwise. Checkout shows applicable taxes, the billing frequency and the amount before you authorize payment. Your bank may apply its own currency-conversion or other fees. Annual billing is a purchase of the full year, not a monthly installment plan.
Paid Mail plans charge for each billable personal mailbox. A suspended mailbox or one awaiting permanent deletion remains billable; shared mailboxes are included within the plan limit. The service previews charges for paid capacity and plan changes. Upgrades may incur a prorated charge. Lower-cost plans and annual-to-monthly changes take effect at renewal as shown in Billing. Email API has no automatic overage charges; sending above the allowance is blocked until the allowance resets or you upgrade.
Keep a valid payment method and accurate billing information. If a payment fails, we may retry it and notify the organization owner. Any recovery deadline and service restrictions are shown in Billing. Amounts already owed remain payable after cancellation. Contact support about an incorrect or unauthorized charge so we can investigate; these Terms do not remove your right to dispute a charge through your payment provider.
Cancel anytime; no refund for unused time
An organization owner or authorized billing administrator can cancel at any time in the web workspace: open Organization → Billing, choose Cancel renewal for the relevant subscription, and confirm. Check that Billing shows the renewal as canceled and displays the end date. If the control is unavailable or the confirmation does not appear, email support@relypost.com from your account email. We will help verify the request and stop renewal. You do not need to give a reason or delete your account.
Cancellation stops the next renewal charge. Your paid plan remains available until the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund or credit unused days, partial months, unused annual-plan time, unused allowances or a change of mind. Canceling after a renewal has been charged stops the following renewal and does not reverse that charge. Cancel Business Email and Email API separately if you want to stop both. Uninstalling the app, stopping use or removing a mailbox does not cancel a subscription.
This no-refund policy does not limit refunds, withdrawal rights or other remedies required by applicable law. It also does not excuse duplicate, incorrect or unauthorized charges. If you have a statutory withdrawal right, contact support to exercise it; creating an account or merely starting to use the service does not by itself waive that right. We apply any required refund or correction to the original payment method where possible.
Your content, privacy and leaving RelyPost
You retain your rights in your messages, files and other content. You give us only the permission needed to host, process, transmit and protect that content to provide the service and comply with law. We do not obtain ownership of it. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing, organization-admin access, providers, retention and privacy requests. You must have permission to provide and send the data you use with RelyPost.
Canceling renewal does not immediately delete your account or existing mail. When paid access ends, Free-plan limits apply and you may need to choose the domain and mailboxes that remain active. Export important records before closing your account, reducing your plan or permanently deleting resources. Account closure and data deletion are separate requests described on our Account and data deletion page. We retain some billing, security and backup records as explained in the Privacy Policy; cancellation is not a promise of unlimited storage or permanent backup.
Reliability and support
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and take reasonable measures to protect it. Email relies on external networks, recipient providers and your domain settings, so we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, delivery of every message, inbox placement or complete prevention of abuse. RelyPost is not an emergency communications service. Keep independent copies of critical records. Any uptime guarantee or service credit must be expressly included in your plan or a signed agreement.
Contact support@relypost.com for account, billing, security and delivery help. We may request reasonable evidence of account ownership and diagnostic details, but you should never send passwords or recovery codes. Support priority depends on your plan. No particular response or resolution time is promised unless your agreement states one.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend the affected service for overdue payments, a material breach of these Terms, a security threat, abuse or a legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We may act immediately to protect users or the service, and you may ask support to review a restriction. Suspension does not authorize new purchases or remove a request to stop renewal.
If we permanently discontinue a paid service or end it for our convenience without your breach, we will give reasonable advance notice where possible, allow a reasonable opportunity to export accessible data, and refund prepaid fees for the unused portion of that discontinued service. This exception does not create a refund for voluntary cancellation. Termination for your material breach remains subject to the no-refund policy and mandatory law.
A fair allocation of responsibility
Neither party is liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made. For business customers, to the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and each party’s total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not excuse your obligation to pay valid charges.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any obligation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer remedies, including remedies for a defective service, remain available. We do not require you to waive those rights or accept mandatory private arbitration.
Changes, disputes and contact
We may update these Terms or plan prices prospectively. For material changes affecting an active paid subscription, we will give at least 30 days’ notice where reasonably possible; price increases apply no earlier than your next renewal after that notice. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner with an explanation. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already accrued. You may cancel renewal before a change applies.
Contact Digital Shift LLC at support@relypost.com first so we can try to resolve a concern fairly. This does not delay any legal deadline or prevent you from contacting a regulator or bringing a claim in a court with jurisdiction. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined by the rules that apply to your agreement and circumstances, including mandatory protections where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
These Terms are available in English, Arabic and Spanish with the same intended meaning. If a translation differs, we will interpret it consistently with applicable law and the reasonable understanding of the customer; a translation cannot reduce mandatory rights. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@relypost.com.
