Your workspace, on your phone

Add RelyPost to your home screen for quick access to mail, calendar, tasks, contacts and files. No app store download needed.

1. Add the app to your home screen

Have your account email and password ready. Use Wi-Fi or mobile data. If your company gave you its own sign-in address, use that address on your phone.

  1. Open your workspace link in Safari. If you opened this guide inside another app, copy the link below and paste it into Safari.
  2. Tap Share. You may need to open the More (…) menu first. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Leave Open as Web App on if shown, then tap Add.
  3. Leave Safari and tap the new app icon on your home screen. Use this icon whenever you open your workspace, including when you enable notifications.
Open your workspace

/workspace

Install the workspace page, rather than this guide. Menu wording and positions can vary by device.

2. Sign in and choose your mailbox

  1. Open the home-screen icon and sign in with your account email and password. Complete any security code or password change requested.
  2. Choose your workspace and mailbox. Use the bottom tabs for Mail, Calendar, Tasks and Files. Tap More for Contacts, Settings and all your other tools.
  3. From the inbox menu, choose Mobile app & notifications to return here.

Forgot your password? Use the recovery option on the sign-in page or ask your company administrator. Your existing permissions also apply on mobile.

3. Turn on new email alerts

Sign in from your home-screen icon, open the inbox menu, then choose Mobile app & notifications. Tap Enable notifications and choose Allow when your device asks.

On iPhone and iPad, notifications require iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later and the installed home-screen app. Enable alerts separately on each device.

Help when you need it

I cannot find Install or Add to Home Screen.

Open the link directly in Safari on iPhone or iPad, or Chrome on Android. Avoid browsers inside other apps. In Safari, scroll through Share; in Chrome, check the browser menu.

I am not receiving notifications.

Open the installed app and check notifications above. Allow alerts in device settings, check Focus or Do Not Disturb and battery saving, and confirm you are signed in. If something goes wrong, try again from this screen. Send a test alert, then send a new email from another account. Older mail does not trigger an alert.

Can I work without internet?

The installed web app needs a connection to load mail and save changes. Keep your editor open if the connection drops, reconnect, then confirm your draft or message was saved. Do not reload an unsaved composition.

How do I update or sign out?

The app checks for updates when opened. Finish or save your work before reopening. To sign out, open navigation and tap Sign out. To remove the app, use your device’s home-screen menu. Turn off notifications above before uninstalling.

Can I use Apple Mail or Outlook instead?

Yes. In the inbox, use the mail app connection guide to create an app password and follow the instructions for your chosen mail app. Those apps manage their own notifications and do not provide the full RelyPost workspace.
